Pilotherm® hollow pile
A hollow pile made of spun concrete. The system is patented and is offered either as a standard version with a conventional double-U probe or as a premium version with a coaxially insulated geothermal probe.
Field of application
The greatest customer benefit — wherever driving is possible.
Wherever driving is possible, the spun concrete pile offers the greatest customer benefit as an energy pile. The geothermal probe package can be installed without difficulty once the pile has been driven.
In water — particularly in harbour structures, in salt water and lake water, in spring water and groundwater — as well as in heavily water-saturated soils such as moorland, the Pilotherm is unique: it forms a closed system.

Environmental performance
You draw two thirds of your heating energy from the ground — independently of oil and at low cost — and complete the system with a heat pump.

Economic efficiency
The continuous cavity allows heat to be extracted and stored over the entire length of the pile. The additional cost of upgrading a hollow pile to an energy pile is comparatively low.

Simple installation
Converting hollow piles into energy piles at a later stage is also simple and straightforward.

High operational reliability
Thanks to built-in bleed valves, unwanted air pockets cannot occur, and each pile can be regulated individually.
