The geothermal probe is the heart of any installation that generates heat by means of heat pump technology.

Fluid dynamics instead of a standard pipe.

We rely on industrially manufactured plastic probe pipes whose internal geometry is optimised in terms of flow. Pressure loss in the brine circuit falls noticeably — and with it the electricity consumed by the circulation pump over the entire service life of the installation. Every probe undergoes a 100 % leak test.

Product family

Three applications, one operating principle.

Pressure loss determines how much electricity the circulation pump draws over the service life of the installation. Reducing it shortens the payback period directly.

  • Geothermal probes

    With flow-optimised probe pipes, geothermal probes of every depth and design benefit from lower pressure loss. For deep probes, smaller pipe dimensions can generally be used, because the technology directly compensates for the pressure loss that rises with increasing probe length.

  • Connecting pipes

    With conventional smooth pipes, the lines connecting the geothermal probes to the heat pump can account for up to a third of the total pressure loss. We design these pipes to be flow-optimised as well — the overall efficiency of the installation improves markedly.

  • Ground collectors

    Horizontal collectors also benefit from lower pressure loss. Flow-optimised collector pipes make longer brine circuits perfectly feasible. This simplifies installation and allows a smaller — and therefore more economical — manifold system.
